Hello! Welcome to my small piece of the vast blog-sphere. I started this blog as a place to explore a new hobby after finding myself in a pretty dull state after months of intense wedding planning. A month or so after being married, I realized that I had lost and given up a lot of my previous hobbies to the craziness of guest charts and veil making. Now that I'm a (very happily) married woman, with an amazing husband, and a "blank canvas" apartment just waiting for some lovin' and personal touches, I'm re-discovering a passion for saving money and being just a little (or a lot) addicted to DIYing. I'm definitely a do-it-yourself kinda gal, love being creative and I get giddy over thrift shopping... so this blog holds a glimpse into my new found passion of DIYing my newlywed apartment... and in the process of making "our little piece of earth" a home, I'm sharing my experiences with you.
